New Moon in Scorpio, 7th November, at 15 degrees and 11 minutes.
03.02 am AEST (8th)
This is a powerful New Moon in Scorpio, known to be one of the strongest signs in the zodiac. Scorpio, being a water sign, always goes to the deeps of everything and it is ruled by Pluto, which represents empowerment through truth. Scorpio has the energy of ‘death and rebirth’, letting go to let in, releasing, new beginnings and surrender. Indeed, this New Moon is a time to begin or to experience a deep, transformational process.
Often though, ‘finding the truth’ can take us out of our comfort zone, be painful to acknowledge and carry the ‘sting’ of the proverbial Scorpios tail. However, if we are willing to do the inward work, great leaps forward in our own personal transformation can be made. Try and really explore your ‘self’ during the coming weeks. Look for areas of your life that seem ‘out of balance’ or ‘inadequate’ to you in some way. Look for ways to break out of the patterns of self-bondage and free yourself. Look for the truth. The energy may bring up matters that force you to go inward and explore your own truth, which had previously been hidden from your conscious awareness. Remember, if you get taken out of your comfort zone, this is just your consciousness ‘stretching’ and with this comes tremendous emotional growth and ergo, transformation.
The most prominent aspect during this New Moon is that the Sun and Moon are trine to Neptune. This is a beautiful aspect and is one that can expand creativity, so things like music, dance, theatre, design and so on. Its also an energy of being gentle with yourself. It’s a very soothing and soft energy.
Venus is square to Pluto, ruler of Scorpio. With this square, obsessions, compulsions and so on can be highlighted. Maybe you compulsively text someone? Think about someone? Or maybe you’re involved with someone who is not good for you and you now become very aware of it. It could also bring back an old lover or old flame, for healing of some sort, or indeed, resuscitate an old relationship, now that healing has occurred.
This energy is wonderful for taking something up that you used to love because Venus is still retrograde until mid-November, so it’s a good time to go back something that you have previously enjoyed.
With Venus retrograde, the most important aspect to remember at this time, is to love yourself, that the only relationship that truly matters is the one with yourself and when you align with your own self -love, all other relationships will align with that new frequency.
Don’t forget that Venus also rules finances and the retrograde energy, may ask that you re look at all of your finances and break through with new ground in that area also, whether that’s different ways to make money, analysing your expenses or reclaiming that which is rightfully yours.
Jupiter is in its final days of transit through Scorpio, so, it’s time to release, let go of the old things, the old hurts. How important are these things in your life now? Does it affect your life in the present, or is it just the memory of it that brings up the pain? It’s a time to really let go. Jupiter moves into Sagittarius just after this New Moon and this will bring with it, new horizons, new perspective, opportunities to expand and for some a tangible ‘gift’ from the Universe. Allow yourself to truly feel like a different person. It may have been hard and emotional at times, but the rewards will be worth it.
The main aspect of this New Moon is to not be discouraged. One quote that sprung to mind was; “The darkest night is before the dawn” – Unknown. In other words, hang in there. Change always comes and breakthroughs will happen.
As the Scorpio journey unfolds, you are being pushed to transform any residual fears or power struggles into higher forms of consciousness. The Sun and Moon are linked up and feeling powerful with passion, while also receiving cosmic support from Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces. This line up is signalling that you are ready for a new phase of your own energy field, letting the old expressions continue to fall away and be transmuted with deeper self-acceptance.
New Moon Ritual
Below, you will find a ‘ritual’ that will help you set forth your intentions and manifestations for this new lunar cycle. Obviously, this is not a requirement to complete, but some may find it helpful.
Creating a sacred space: This does not have to be anything ‘prolific’ but you should set out with the intention of creating a space just for you, that is distraction free and feels comfortable. I find using sage, crystals and a white candle particularly comforting to my rituals, but really you can make this experience as unique as you are! Also ensure that you get a pen and paper to record your manifestations on, although it does not have to be, getting yourself a little notebook to record in each month may be helpful to you.
Preparing for the Ritual: Not only should you prepare a ‘sacred space’ but it is also recommended to prepare yourself energetically also. This really means being kind to yourself, you can do this by having a walk-in nature, taking a salt bath, meditating etc, really ensuring that you are feeling peaceful and calm. I also suggest that you bring a glass of water into your sacred space with you and hydrate when you feel the need to do so.
Grounding: This is something that’s important anytime, for staying connected to earth energy. Signs that you’re not grounded are mania, nervousness, racing thoughts and the like. In a nutshell, grounding, is visualizing energy ‘roots’, coming out of the bottom of your feet, going down into the Earth, through the layers, into the core, and then drawing that energy back up through your feet again. It moves through each chakra, coming out the top and down around you. Try this or another variation of grounding before you set new Moon intentions.
Your New Moon Wishes: After you’ve cleared a sacred space and settled your energy, you’re ready to set your intentions. Make a list of what you’d like to draw into your life and Dream Big! The new Moon is a moment to conjure what seems out of reach, and creating the vision is the first step to making it a reality. But these are not just words on paper. As you write them down as intentions, you are committing to doing your part to make them real. Some call it co-creating, since you’re opening to universal energies to set dreams in motion. Whilst not a requirement I like to label the top of my page “New Moon in …” and then the date. I also write in the present tense, so in essence that what I ‘wish’ to manifest has already happened and I write it from a perspective of gratitude.
E.G. “I am thankful for my continued good health”
Keep your dreams Alive: A big part of success with new Moon intentions is what comes after. Unlike the ‘release of a Full moon’ find ways to keep your manifestations in the front of your awareness. Put them in a visible spot, or keep them in your wallet. Make notes in your journal about your progress (this is particularly helpful because it re-aligns you with the consciousness of the manifestations and helps you see the more-subtle energy alignment shifts towards them. At the full Moon, find ways to take action on those intentions, and celebrate any signs of change.
Reiki New Moon, Healing Circle.
As with every New Moon, I will be conducting a Reiki Healing Circle. By doing so, we clear our energy at one of the most pivotal times of the month, bringing forth clarity, direction and forward momentum in our lives in a much more focused, conscious way. This Reiki session will take place on 7th November and we will harness the energy of this, self-aware, truth seeking, freedom giving energy of new beginnings and fresh starts. The cost for this session is £10pp.
This is a distant healing session, so you do not need to be physically with me to receive the energy, indeed, you don’t even need to stop your ‘normal’ day to day activities for the Reiki to be sent. However, it is always recommended, where possible, to meditate, during the session as this will prove fruitful to your acceptance of the Reiki. I will however, programme the Reiki to be felt at whatever time you become still and wish to receive. The most important aspect is that you consciously accept the healing energy and know that it is always to your own highest good. Post the session, I will send e-mail feedback to all those who attended.
You can book your spot here.
Free Reiki Candle Service
As part of this healing circle you will also receive 24 hours under the Reiki Candle (so in a sense Reiki flows throughout you for the duration of 24 hours), FREE of charge (normally £5). For the candle service I will add your name with the intention of ‘working to their highest good’
Natural healing techniques can be used to compliment another health care practice; however, they are not a substitute for a proper medical diagnosis and treatment from a licensed healthcare professional. Healers are usually not medically trained and should therefore never give a clinical diagnosis or interfere with treatment. I suggest that you always see your Doctor, or healthcare specialist if you have any concerns about your physical or mental health.
This Reiki Healing is conducted and prepared with light and love to assist you on your spiritual journey. How you experience the healing will be as unique as you are. Janet Gracey Conscious healing holds no responsibility for the perceived outcome of your Reiki Healing session.
