Self Teaching
Energy work has taken me on a journey like no other and it all began when I learnt the healing power of Reiki. Over the years, I have taught over 100 students and 17 master teachers and whilst today, I no longer offer 1:1 classes, Reiki is so life changing, that I still wanted to make it available to the collective as a self taught healing modality.
Level 1: Shoden (Self Healing)
Level 2: Okuden (Practitioner Training)
Level 3: Shinpiden (Mastership)
Level 4: Shihan Kaku (Master Teacher)
For each level, you will be supplied with a training booklet and a link to receive your attunement (initiation or ‘denju’), into the healing art of Reiki. It is advised to give yourself a minimum of 6 months working with Reiki energy (up to level 2) before you would train in Mastership/Master Teacher). Each training booklet, teaches and shows you how to activate and work with Reiki at every level, to aid in overall wellness, physically, emotionally & spiritually.
This is a self teaching course, therefore, certificates will only be available upon request.
Courses at a glance..
Reiki is something anyone can learn and use, there is no special ability or prior training required to be accepted unto the course.
These courses are the traditional teachings and methods of Usui Reiki Ryoho and all my courses utilize knowledge gained from my two masters, any new energy techniques and experiences that I have discovered from my own practice, spanning 11 years. My courses are also compliant with the NOS and the CHNC guidelines.
As the world changes, so has the availability of natural / alternative healing, and we now have a community of Reiki practitioners all over the world, working within hospices, hospitals, yoga centres & private practices, just to name a few places.
When learning Reiki, the general rule is to work with level 1 Reiki energy for the 21 days following your initiation* on a self healing basis. This ensures that you heal yourself first before you begin working with others.
Level 2 can be taught in tandem with Level 1, & dives deeper into accessing different energetic frequencies to make healing much more efficient and effective. This is also the level that you may begin working with others.
Level 3 & 4 are generally taught together and these encompass the necessary training & skills to begin teaching Reiki to others and expanding your own personal practice to work with higher levels of the quantum field.

Level 1 (Shoden)
Focusing on the theory of Reiki, the ‘Rei’ energy, that works on a spiritual level. This level is primarily intended for you to self-heal.
This Reiki level 1 course you will receive the 4 Shoden Denju attunements on level 1. You will learn all the relevant techniques and theory for this level.
On completion of this Reiki course you will be able to use Reiki to treat yourself with the Rei energy, the first part of the Reiki energy.
As part of the course price you will receive a certification, lineage (to Dr Usui), a training manual and ongoing support from me, your Master Reiki Teacher.
Level 2 (Okuden)
This level teaches the second part of the Reiki Energy, the ‘Ki’ energies, that work directly on a physical and emotional level. This is the practitioner course that teaches and certifies, so that you may work within a professional capacity.
You will receive the Okuden Denju attunement on level 2. You will learn all the relevant Japanese techniques and theory for this level. You will learn to correctly use the Usui symbols and how to work with Reiki for general emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
On completion of this Reiki course you will be able to use Reiki with confidence to treat yourself and others, work professionally as a practitioner (if you want to) and you will take the next step on your spiritual journey.
As part of the course price you will receive a certification, a training manual and ongoing support from me, your Master Reiki Teacher.
Online Zoom Training Useful Information
Within the Reiki community, there is much discussion on the ‘validity’ of teaching and initiating Reiki as an online course. Many Masters will simply not conduct training unless it is in a classroom setting, generally, because they feel that the Master and Teacher need to have a 1:1 connection and so that the student can be prepared in a meditative fashion to receive the Reiki. For me, the more I have used Reiki, the more I have seen and experienced the limitless energy. In a sense, it’s very clear to me that we cannot ‘bracket’ Reiki into “What is right” and “What is wrong”, in fact, all of my teaching consistently drives you towards exploring the energy for yourself, in whatever way you choose. Thus, why would online initiations not work? How do we ‘measure’ the ‘meditative state’ of the student, whether that is online or in a room? Really, Reiki has no limitations and I have conducted many online initiations and these students are as close to me and as advanced on their Reiki journey as those who choose to attend in house classes. In addition, unlike most other online courses, I still work with you 1:1, you can still ask questions in real time and experience the training as it happens, indeed you will receive your initiation in ‘real time’ with me. I am still your Reiki Master Teacher and I will always support you, thus, the belief that online courses remove you from the teacher, on this occasion, are not true. In other words, for me, online and in person classes hold no difference.
